From 1 January 2017 South Derbyshire District Council will be charging VAT on all Local Land Charge services except for LLC1ís.
The Law Society have introduced new CON29 Forms and from Monday 4 July 2016 all searches will be answered using the revised CON29 questions.
Land Charges currently process searches in approximately 20 working days.

Payment can be made by cheque, BACS or electronically through our Customer Service Centre.
* Residential: Domestic dwellings including houses, bungalows and self-contained flats, either in residential or holiday use, where the vendor is a private individual. Also includes individual building plots for residential properties, where the site is either currently vacant or under construction
** Commercial: All other types of search.
